In between polishing up my thesis for submission (finally), I've been putting together a workshop on how to effectively communicate science or conduct outreach.
Please note, this workshop is open to UNSW E&ERC members only, though sometimes CES members sneak in. If you're not from E&ERC (or even BEES, or even Australia) and you'd like to know more, read on.
If you're interested but can't attend for whatever reason, I'll be posting some of the content of the workshop on this site at a later date. But if you can come, you should- we'll be doing lots of hands-on practical skill development. Also, there will be morning tea.

The content for my workshop derives from:
Hope to see you there!
- my own experience;
- the advice of many wonderful science communicators and media folk I've had the pleasure to speak with throughout my PhD candidacy; and
- a distillation of information from organisations promoting science communication and outreach as a way forward to better world.
Hope to see you there!
